Hello! I’m Israel, a Computer Science student at Western Washington University, graduating in Spring 2026 with a minor in Mathematics.
My programming journey began during COVID, where I first explored game development through Unity and C#. Years later, my hobby has turned into a genuine passion for building meaningful tools and solving real-world problems.
As a first-generation student, I’ve found purpose in volunteering and participating in student-led organizations. These experiences have taught me the value of leadership, teamwork, and staying committed to causes beyond myself.
Above all, I aim to use my skills not just to build software—but to create lasting, positive impact, especially for underserved communities and causes that matter.
Outside of academics, I’m passionate about fitness, cooking, and family. Fitness keeps me goal-oriented, cooking helps me explore new things, and my family keeps me grounded and inspired. These interests shape how I work—with structure, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
I’m currently seeking Summer 2025 internships where I can apply my experience, grow as a developer, and contribute to meaningful work. If my values resonate with your mission, I’d love to connect!
